FDA Cites Airline Caterers for Numerous Violations

An analysis of FDA inspection reports of airline catering facilities by USA Today found numerous health and safety violations in the past two years. The inspections were at food preparation facilities in the U.S. for airline caterers LSG Sky Chefs, Gate Gourmet and Flying Food Group. Collectively, the three companies operate 91 kitchens and provide more than 100 million in-flight meals annually for airline clients.
