LSU Hit With Back Sales Tax Bill

Louisiana State University may owe $750,000 for three years of back taxes for meal plans. The university, along with other schools in the state, had for a long time been exempted from Louisiana’s four percent sales tax, but the exemption was suspended in 2006 and the school failed to note the change.
