Olympic Food Venues Not All Up to Standard

More than a third of the more than 400 food operations at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver failed to fully meet health regulations, reports the Vancouver Sun. Inspection reports compiled by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority show that 147 of 424 venues were not compliant in at least one area of their operations, and of those, 56 were specifically cited for “potentially hazardous food” conditions usually having to do with maintaining improper temperatures.
