Cupcake Mural Helps BYU Raise $3,900 for Local Food Bank

Brigham Young Dining baked, frosted and donated 2,100 cupcakes to the fundraising initiative.

Brigham Young University Dining Services teamed up with the school's Student Alumni Association to create a mural out of 2,100 cupcakes for a fundraiser to benefit the local food bank in Provo, UT. The blue and white confections, arranged to form a picture of BYU mascot Cosmo the Cougar, were donated by BYU Dining and were sold off for $2 apiece, with the department adding a bottle of milk to students who used Cougar Cash for the purchase.
