The 14 animals had been purchased by UMD Dining Services and raised by students in a Applied Small Ruminant Partition class.

University of Maryland Dining Services will be serving lamb raised on the school's campus farm at its 251 North dining venue and its Green Tidings food truck, reports the Diamondback campus paper.
