Seasoned Ham and Cheese Biscuits

YIELD: 12 servings

2 1/2 cups country club boneless pit-style ham, diced
1 1/2 Tbsps. green onions, chopped
1 1/2 tsps. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsps. butter or margarine, softenend
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
12, 4" baking powder biscuits, split in half horizontally
12, 4" square Swiss cheese slices

  1. Combine ham, onion, poppy seed, butter and mustard.
  2. Divide mixture evenly and place on bottom half of biscuits. Top each with a cheese square. Cover with top halt of biscuit.
  3. Place sandwiches on parchment paper-lined half sheet pan. Cover with aluminum foil but do not seal edges.
  4. Bake in preheated 350°F standard oven 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
