New York City's impending ban on sugary sodas larger than 16 oz. will affect not just commercial foodservice establishments within the city but onsite operations like Fordham University as well, reports [3] that school's Ram campus paper. Fordham's campus dining operation, which is managed by Sodexo, told the Ram that it would be ready to comply with the new regulations as soon as it sees them in detail after they are published by the City's Health Dept. ahead of the March 12, 2013 implementation date.

The new regulation prohibits the sale of beverages in excess of 16 oz. servings if they contain more than 25 calories per eight ounces, unless they are either 100% vegetable or fruit juice or are at least 50% milk.
