The Massachusetts House of Representatives has voted to overturn a ban on school bake sales following an outcry from parents and mockery from some in the media, reports [3] the Boston Herald. The state's Dept. of Public Health had instituted the requirement, set to go into effect at the beginning of the 2012-13 school year. The House bill making compliance with the ban voluntary must still pass the state senate and be signed by the governor.
