Alabama Supreme Court Dismisses Dining Dollars Suit

The Alabama Supreme Court upheld a decision to throw out student lawsuits over mandatory "dining dollars" dining fees at three state universities, reports [2] the Associated Press. The students at the University of Alabama, Auburn University and the University of Alabama-Birmingham had filed suit [3] against the schools and their dining management companies over the requirement that they purchase dining dollars as part of their meal plans. The suit was originally dismissed [4] by a lower court judge at the beginning of this year.
