Coke's Futuristic Fountain a Hit at TCU

Coca-Cola's experimental Freestyle fountain machine has been getting rave reviews on the Texas Christian University campus, the first pilot site for the machine deployed by foodservice contractor Sodexo, reports [2] the TCU Daily Skiff. Freestyle lets users blend 106 different individual flavors into nearly limitless different combinations thanks to advanced pour technology.

Freestyle uses small cartridges of highly-concentrated beverages instead of large bags of syrup, allowing more choices are available in traditional machines. Users interface with the machine and make selections using a touchscreen, while the unit communicates usage, consumption and other market data directly back to the Coke's researchers.
