Southern continued to focus on its core business providing at-work and away-from-home dining services to its clients, most of which are in B&I, government or military facilities. A strong year with new contract acquisitions in these segments, which far outpaced account turnover or attrition, has allowed the company to set manageable and measured growth objectives for 2016 versus 2015.
