United Vending & Food Service is moving its corporate headquarters from South Sioux City, NE, to North Sioux City, SD. The firm operates vending programs and corporate cafeterias in 10 states. Joe Rictor, a partner in the firm, told the Sioux City Journal that the reason for the relocation was South Dakota's better business climate, which includes no corporate or personal state income tax. The company's clients include some of the area's largest employers, including Gateway, John Morrell and Tyson Fresh Meats.
