It’s been an interesting process watching our new walk-in cooler being built. Piece by piece, floors, walls and ceiling were assembled; it took a couple of semis to deliver all the parts, over one week to put it together and about a month to get it fully functional.
The walk-in is 24 feet wide by 90 feet long. (It’s like a small apartment in a very large house!) Then you have to add power and compressors (you can see the dual
compressor system in the photo here) It is a technical operation and one that is physically very demanding. It makes one appreciate those who put these in. I know I do.
