Sodexo and celebrity chef Mai Pham have opened a Star Ginger station inside Boston's State Street Financial Center building, part of an eight-station cafe mix. Sodexo forged a partnership with Pham two years ago on her Star Ginger concept for college campuses. The State Street cafe is near Boston's Chinatown, so “Asian specialties are always popular,” says Sodexo District Manager David Healy. The station offers pho soups, Asian barbecue and curry dishes. Pham was in town for five days to promote its mid-December opening. “She gave us wonderful support,” Healy says.
