Inside Conde Nast’s dining at One World Trade Center

Earlier this year, publishing giant Conde Nast moved from its Midtown Manhattan location to new digs in the world’s fourth tallest building, One World Trade Center. Thirty-five floors up, with stunning views of downtown and the Statue of Liberty, is the new café. Restaurant Associates (RA) has been operating the dining program for Conde Nast for 15 years. Since opening the new café, customer counts are up 32 percent, to between 1,400 and 1,500 a day, and the check average is up 13 percent, to $8.50. RA’s President Ed Sirhal gave FM a firsthand tour of the new dining operation.
