Students from the acclaimed culinary arts department at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA, help serve the student community while learning the skills necessary in the culinary field, reports the Coast Report student paper. They include the Student Center Cafe and Quick Corner, Coast Snack Shack, Bbq @ The Grove, Captain’s Table and the Eclectic Café. A three-course gourmet meal is prepared by culinary students and served by foodservice staff each Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center Cafeteria.
