When Food Management sent out a call for nominations of Foodservice Heroes—individuals who have exemplified the dedication and commitment to their customers and organizations—we received over 400 responses. Earlier, we highlighted select individuals from all the nominations we received, including several from college dining programs.
However, because we received so many nominations from the college dining market, we have separated those not included in that earlier listing into categories by job title. Featured on the following pages are submissions from campus dining operations of unit managers and supervisors who stepped up to ensure that students and staff continued to be fed over the past year. The stories are in the lightly edited words of the respective nominators and are listed in alphabetical order of nominees’ last names.
