Each month, students have a chance to chalk it up with artwork that furthers the café’s mission.
Roz’s Café was designed as a comfy coffee-and-snack spot, with a serious mission at its heart.
Roz’s Café coffee is from a local Vermont roaster and is Certified Organic, Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance Certified.
You won’t find throwaway coffee cups here, even paper, as the campus community brings their own mugs. If they forget, there’s a mug share program.
In addition to the mug share program, branded “swag mugs” are available for purchase at the café to reuse again and again.
The snacks and baked goods are made in-house, from scratch, to eliminate cellophane wrappers and other packaging on pastries.
Roz’s Café creates mixes to take home in cute mason jars. Instructions are found on the lid. Clever!
Housemade/locally sourced snacks found in reusable/returnable jars to reduce packaging waste
Custom-made snack mixes are just the thing for a study break. When the customer returns, the jar returns, too.
Purple Carrot Farm is Bennington’s student-run organic farm on campus that provides produce and also dries herbs, preserves veggies ad creates tea blends, all featured in Roz’s Café.
