Recreating historic recipes dug up by the campus archaeology team, MSU chefs bring the past to life in a series of “throwback Thursdays” and “flashback Fridays,” taking students all the way back to the 1860s via the food truck.
Michigan State University’s Campus Archaeology Program has been chronicling the culinary past of MSU forebears and was looking for a way to connect with present-day Spartans. So, in a collaboration with the culinary team, a food truck time machine has been assembled. Join us as we take a bite out of history.
