The program is operated by contract firm Provider Contract Food Service, a division of Preferred Hospitality Inc., which also operates a commercial restaurant division called Market Broiler.
The CBU foodservice network includes one residential dining outlet called the Alumni Dining Commons, plus various retail outlets ranging from national chains like Chick-fil-A to in-house concepts like El Monte Grill, Foodology, Brisco’s, Magnolia Crossing, Campus Express and Wanda’s Café, all of which prioritize fresh, healthy dishes made onsite.
“With CBU’s confidence and support, our team of professionally trained chefs with diverse culinary backgrounds, and hospitality managers with decades of retail dining experience, truly elevate our program,” offers Kipp Dougherty, vice president of culinary & operational excellence for Provider. “We enjoy taking a fresh new slant on food preparation and presentation to achieve up-to-date and flavorful menu selections. We bring new ideas, new designs, cutting-edge décor, and truly appetizing and enjoyable food to the CBU campus.”
