While located on the UC-Riverside campus, the Barn is open to member of the local community as well as current students and staff.
COVID-related restrictions regulate the number of customers inside the Barn at any time, with all onsite dining done outside on the patio to maximize staff and customer safety.
The patio area gives the Barn an open-air area where patrons can more safely dine.
The Grill, one of two hot food stations open currently in the Barn, offers a traditional menu of grill favorites like burgers, chicken and deli sandwiches and sides such as fries and onion rings.
The Hot Table, along with the Grill, are the two of the Barn’s four food stations to be open this summer. Its menu rotates a five-day cycle with selections such as fried chicken, grilled beef tips and vegan curry fried rice stuffed peppers.
The Barn’s Happy Hour extends from 3 p.m. to close each day and has a special Barn Bites menu of shareable favorites such as chicken wings, egg rolls and fried zucchini.
The Stable, currently closed, is a modified full-service concept with an indoor bar that is restricted to UC-Riverside faculty and staff.
The Barn was a popular entertainment venue that hosted national acts, and the renovated structure incorporates a performance stage and capacity for up to 750 attendees.
