The NBA's Portland Trail Blazers have announced that Levy Restaurants will be taking over management of food and beverage operations at the team's Rose Garden home arena beginning July 1. Levy already operates in 21 other NBA arenas including American Airlines Arena in Miami, the United Center in Chicago and the newly opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
"After a long and in-depth selection process, we are pleased to be partnering with who we believe is the top food and beverage provider in the world, Levy Restaurants," says Trail Blazers President/CEO Chris McGowan. "With its broad relationships with other NBA teams and major venues around the world, Levy will deliver an award-winning food and beverage vision, along with premium hospitality and service. They will play a critical role in our goal of enhancing the fan experience in the Rose Garden and Rose Quarter."
The Rose Quarter is a 30-acre sports and entertainment district that encompasses the Rose Garden and another arena, the Memorial Coliseum, and serves as an arts and entertainment space hosting events ranging from NBA basketball to live theatre, concerts and exhibitions.
