A couple dozen chefs from Morrison's healthcare and senior dining units got together recently at the Chef's Garden, a unique farm operation in Huron, OH, that specializes in gourmet produce production for high-end foodservice operations.
The chefs, who came from Morrison accounts across the country, spent three days touring the fields, tasting crops, cooking and even planting in a team-building/professional education event designed to strengthen the company's emphasis on local sourcing and the use of the freshest ingredients in menus.
