Six high school students from the Chicago Vocational Career Academy went to Capitol Hill on May 10th and prepared and served a meal of oven-fried antibiotic-free chicken, greens, cabbage and sweet potato salad that has a food cost of around a dollar a serving and meets school lunch nutritional guidelines, reports Food Safety News. Their food was served to those attending a policy briefing on the House side and was added to the Congressional cafeteria menu that day.
