New Competitive Foods Rule Impacts Student-Run Eatery at High School

New federal school lunch regulations have apparently put a halt to the student-run Tiger's Loft Bistro at Newton (MA) North High School, reports the Boston Globe. The longtime eatery is run by culinary arts students at the school and has been a popular alternative to the cafeteria, but new rules regulating competitive foods during lunchtime will now restrict sales to faculty and staff and possibly the public.
