Oatmeal stations help boost breakfast sales at high and middle schools

Grant County brought customization and self-service to this traditional but humdrum foodservice breakfast staple and saw oatmeal sales grow 200%.

Breakfast sales are booming at the middle and high schools of the Grant County School District in Kentucky, thanks to the double-barrel effect of oatmeal stations in the cafeteria before school begins and a second-chance breakfast option after the first period (high school only), both launched last fall.
