Clay County (FL) Schools has been deploying a Summer Feeding Mobile Bus to go out into the community to provide subsidized summer meals for district youngsters, reports Clay Today. The vehicle is a standard yellow school bus that loads up with meals at one of the district's elementary school kitchens and stores them in coolers. A supply of pre-packaged shelf-stable meals are also carried along for backup in case the regular meals run out.
