Optimizing labor in the kitchen

Despite restaurant employment being up 3.6 percent in the first 11 months of 2015 — which also marked the fifth consecutive year that restaurants added at least 30,000 jobs — there are signs that openings remain a challenge to fill, according to the National Restaurant Association.
