San Diego State University Dining Services prepared and delivered up to 1,500 boxed meals a day for evacuees at Qualcomm Stadium and several other fire evacuation centers throughout San Diego County during the recent fires in Southern California, reports the school’s SDSUniverse website. The department has been working with the American Red Cross to provide food for some of the half million-plus San Diegans forced to leave their homes because of the fires. The box meals included full breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
