Aramark at Elon University has opened an all vegetarian/vegan station called Green World at 1889 in Colonnades Dining Hall, reports the Times-News. The menu includes vegetable stew and vegan salad bar each day with produce from local farms as well as gluten-free items and kosher foods. Tofu stir-fry and Falafel also are items on the menu. Green World, currently open for lunch and dinner weekdays, replaces a sit-down food grill room that was losing popularity.
