Remodel Doubles Hospital Cafeteria's Size

The newly renamed Branches at Colorado Plains Medical Center also has updated decor and new production and serving equipment.

Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan, Col., unveiled a remodeled cafeteria twice the size of its predecessor and featuring an expanded menu and new name, Branches, reports the Journal-Advocate. The project, funded in part by a monetary High Five Award from the hospital's parent company, dramatically increased dining space, updated the decor and added new equipment in both the kitchen and server, including self-serve pizza warmers and a larger salad bar. A hospital spokesperson told the Journal-Advocate that the changes are also intended to draw more outside customers from the community to the cafeteria for lunch.
