UK Decides to Privatize Dining Services

School says it needs funding to upgrade facilities to accommodate growing resident population.

The University of Kentucky plans to privatize its dining services in order to secure funding for enlarging and renovating its campus dining facilities, reports the Lexington Herald-Leader. The school says the dining enhancements are critical because it will house over 21 percent more students this fall than in fall 2013.
