This movie-set quality 50s diner-themed milkshake concept has all the details right from the shiny red chairs to the checkered floor to the hand-spun milkshakes in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Where’s Fonzie?
Sitting together and sharing food builds community, and Bolton is designed so there are lots of seats to be found throughout the building.
At Taqueria, nachos, tacos and burritos are available, along with another item that’s a little non-traditional: hot wings. “Guess what? We had to have hot wings, and it’s made a great station,” Fry says.
Rather than being hidden away, cooking goes on in plain view of where food is being served. The sights, sounds and aromas reach customers in record time. And hot and cold items are available at most of the concepts. You can get a salad pretty much anywhere. “When you build these massive places…I hate to have to run here to get this and run there to get that for a meal,” Fry says. “You can get a complete meal at each concept.”
The World’s Fare area of Bolton includes three global concepts: Taqueria (Mexi-Cali burritos, nachos, etc.); Canting (Chinese stir-fry, Vietnamese Pho and a classic appetizer from Fry’s days as a caterer: Crab Rangoon Dip); and Trattoria (Italian pasta with customizable options).
