Zero-waste high school grad party ends year on sustainable note

Phillips Exeter Academy’s ongoing sustainability efforts got the spotlight with a green end-of-year celebration that wasted nothing.

Philips Exeter Academy, a private residential high school in New Hampshire, places a high emphasis on sustainability, something that’s very visible within the dining program. As the school year came to an end recently, and another class went out into the world, dining services took the opportunity to host a party for about 3,000 people and send the graduates off with a green message and to highlight the sustainability efforts that go on all year.
