YIELD: 1 qt.
3 cups Coca Cola
1 cup ketchup
2 tsps. brown sugar
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup liquid smoke
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup onion, minced
½ tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
2. Reduce heat and simmer the sauce until reduced by ¼, for 6 to 8 minutes.
3. Transfer sauce to a clean jar. Cover and refrigerate.
