Walnut-Date Smoothies

Recipe by California Walnuts

YIELD: 3 servings

1 cup walnut milk
¾ cup Medjool dates, pitted and roughly chopped
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
¼ tsp. cinnamon
1 cup ice cubes

1.    Combine everything except ice in blender and blend on high until dates are broken up and mixture is very smooth, at least 1 minute.
2.    Add ice and blend briefly until ice is just broken up. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
