Over 7,500 members of the UK community currently have meal plans. Aramark estimates that it will serve between 6,000 and 7,000 meals daily.

The 90 has beautiful limestone walls and two 1,500-pound barn doors made from reclaimed wood.

Huge windows lend lots of natural light as well as some of the best views of the tree-shaded campus.

UK takes great pride in its brand, and The 90 is a direct reflection of that with chairs and stations subtly adorned in UK-specific details.

For students who need to dine and dash, UK offers a reusable to-go box, which can be purchased for $5 using flex points, credit card or cash. The container can be used at either of the two all-you-care-to-eat dining halls with a meal swipe. When the rinsed to-go box is returned it is exchanged for a new sanitized container.

This program helps to replace Styrofoam and to improve the school’s efforts to increase sustainability across campus.

The 90 will soon start composting its post-consumer waste.

The 90, as well as the entire UK campus, is trayless and has been since 2014. This is an important part of the school’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.

Fresh Food Company is an all-you-care-to-eat residential restaurant with an open kitchen design. The focus is on fresh ingredients and delicious food that is made in front of students.

In addition to the residential restaurant, The 90 is home to retail concepts like Taco Bell, Aqua Sushi, Wildcat Pantry and La Madeleine Country French Café.

Wildcat Pantry reinvents the campus store experience by blending the features of “corner store” quick convenience with modern market style and service.

Upstairs, The 90 offers a living and learning support zone with six classrooms, Living Learning Program offices, the Dining Center and The Food Connection.

Overlooking The 90’s residential restaurant is UK’s The Food Connection, a university-business-community partnership between the University of Kentucky, the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and UK Dining (Aramark).

The Food Connection serves farmers, food producers, students and consumers by developing solutions and creative strategies for a vibrant, healthy, sustainable food economy in Kentucky. The Food Connection supports the university’s land-grant mission through three key areas of work: interdisciplinary and innovative instruction, high-impact service and outreach, and cutting-edge research on foods and food systems. Their work aims to enhance student experience through enhancing the on-campus dining experience, and through enriched learning environments that set students well along their professional pathways within food systems and beyond.

The facility is approximately 2,000 square feet and features state-of-the-art technology as well as kitchen facilities to support demonstration cooking classes for students.
