URI Loosens Campus Alcohol Policy

The University of Rhode Island is loosening its restrictions on campus alcohol sales in order to help generate more revenues, reports local TV news station WPRI. New URI President David Dooley has led the school’s board of governors to overturn policies in place for the past 15 years and allow the campus dining and catering departments to have liquor service at athletic, social and fundraising events.
