Phillies Ballpark Named Most Veg-Friendly Again

Meatless “cheesesteaks” help put Citizens Bank Park on top of PETA’s annual ranking.

Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, was named most vegetarian-friendly ballpark in the Major Leagues for the second consecutive year by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Managed by Aramark, Citizens Bank Park offers meatless versions of chicken sandwiches, crab cakes and even Philly cheesesteaks.

Rounding out the top 10 in order were AT&T Park (San Francisco Giants), Safeco Field (Seattle Mariners), PETCO Park (San Diego Padres), Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals), Comerica Park (Detroit Tigers), Coors Field (Colorado Rockies), U.S. Cellular Field (Chicago White Sox), Turner Field (Atlanta Braves), Tropicana Field (Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Chase Field (Arizona Diamondbacks), with the last two being tied for 10th place.
