MSU sources hogs from local 4-H kids

Montana State dining personnel fan out each summer to county fairs across the state to buy animals that are then processed into pork used in the campus foodservice program.

College dining programs are always looking for ways to buy more local product and to foster community relations, and a four-year-old initiative at Montana State University (MSU) does both of those things.
