Tulane throws farewell party for venerable dining hall

Last month, Tulane Dining Services by Sodexo held a final birthday party for Bruff Commons, the university’s long-standing dining hall, which is slated to close this summer. The nearly 60-year-old facility will be replaced with an ultramodern dining hall in a new, nearby location on campus.

Bruff’s final birthday party featured activities such as a petting zoo, caricature artists and roller skating, plus foods like sushi, pizza bites, housemade ice cream sandwiches and fresh-baked cookies.
