The Phoenix Dog was developed to launch alongside Elon University's new basketball arena, the Schar Center. It is a mix of a classic beef hot dog, topped with Tickle-My-Ribs pulled pork (a local barbecue restaurant), and Phoenix Slaw (maroon and gold to match Elon's colors). The hot dog is topped with a special sauce, and fried onion straws for crunch.
