Hospital's Room-Service Conversion Required Nine Months of Off-site Food Prep

South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel recently became the first hospital in Mississippi to launch a full service, hotel-style room service program, reports the Laurel Leader-Call. The conversion to the new system required a nine-month reconstruction of the production kitchen during which patient meals were prepared off-site at nearby Laurel Middle School and transported over.
