Chartwells stores replicate college-style retail outlets in high schools

A c-store program from Chartwells puts retail outlets into high schools that offer NSLP-compliant foods and beverages while giving students a glimpse of what college campus stores are like.

An ongoing program from Chartwells K12 has been putting college-style c-stores into high schools while complying with federal child nutrition regulations such as Smart Snack a la carte sale guidelines. In Texas, Chartwells Regional Director Mike Leonard has stores in 18 locations, including districts such as Cedar Hill, Dayton and Amarillo.
