The vegetable garden in the central courtyard of Framingham (MA) High School will yield 1,000 gallons of tomato sauce, 400 pounds of brussels sprouts and many other vegetables, all of which will be used in meals served to Framingham students this upcoming school year, reports the MetroWest Daily News. The 16-bed garden was started by Foodservice Director Brendan Ryan more than two years ago.
