While many colleges are dealing with declining enrollments, Lafayette College faces the opposite challenge: the entering class is one of the largest to date, with 701 students, following on the heels of the sophomore class, with 733. Two years ago, 2,500 students were enrolled at the Easton, Pa., liberal arts school. Plans call for 2,900 by 2026.
