FM Top 50 2015: No. 20 Parkhurst Dining

Fiscal 2014 Revenues: $155,000,000

Parkhurst is one of two onsite foodservice divisions of the Eat’n Park Hospitality Group’s Onsite Brands Division (the other is #27 Cura Hospitality).

The past year has seen expanded use of the company’s FoodU dining app by students in its college accounts. The personalized information includes the latest info on favorite dining spots, events and meal preferences set by the user, including food allergies.

Parkhurst also continues to focus on offering fresh, made from scratch offerings, partnering with local farms and providers, highlighting fresh and seasonal foods prepared in front of the customer through culinary demonstrations and educational opportunities.

At Bridgewater (Va.) College, Parkhurst is now managing the campus store, where it has grown sales by 15%.  The company has operated dining at Bridgewater since 2012.

The past year also saw the launch of Bada Basil, a healthy Italian street food concept menuing made-to-order wraps and pasta bowls.  At Bucknell University, Bada Basil sales exceeded expectations by 6.5%.
